Red Service features include:

• Comfortable reclining seats offering greater personal space. Two seats on either side of the aisle, with 60 seats per carriage
• 49cm pitch between seats
• Access to Café Carriage, where meals are available for purchase
• Snacks for purchase from trolley service or Café Carriage
• Free ‘Platform’ magazine
• Luggage allowance of 40kg per person, two items not exceeding 20kg each.

Red Service Cafe Carriage

For a drink, snack, or just the chance to stretch your legs, visit the Café Carriage.

Luggage

Red Service allows two items not exceeding 20kg each and not exceeding 180 linear centimetres. Due to space constraints, guests are advised to take onboard only hand luggage containing the requirements for their rail journey. Checked in luggage cannot be accessed during the journey.

Red Premium Service

Our Red Premium Service offers extra space and more comfort, with reclining seats that offer even more leg room than business class airline seats. Two abreast to one side and a single seat across the aisle, the seats swivel to face each other if you want to socialise with your travelling companions.

The Café Carriage is a short stroll away for meals or drinks - including espresso coffee - and if you don’t want to leave your seat, enjoy an a la carte meal, snack or drink from our catering trolley.
