Day 1 (Sun)

Alice Springs

This afternoon, check in to your overnight accommodation, The Chifley Alice Springs Resort.

Day 2 (Mon)

Uluru (Ayers Rock)

This morning after breakfast, check out of your hotel, and make your own way to Alice Springs Airport, for your early afternoon flight to Uluru. On arrival at Ayers Rock Airport you will be transferred to your hotel. Travel from Ayers Rock Resort to the Uluru sunset viewing area. Enjoy nibbles and a glass of wine, while watching the changing colours of a sunset over Uluru. After sunset, you will be transferred to the exclusive barbecue site, situated within the Uluru National Park, for a relaxing dining experience under the stars, before returning to your accommodation. Day 3 (Tue)

Uluru (Ayers Rock) – Kata Tjuta (Olgas)

Early start this morning to view sunrise over Uluru, before joining your guide on a walk around the base of Uluru, travel to the beautiful Mutitjulu Waterhole, and visit the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre, to learn about Aboriginal culture and see local artwork. This afternoon travel to Kata Tjuta and join your guide for a 2-3hr walk amongst these giant domes, learning about the unique flora and fauna and geological history of the area. Take in sunset with a glass of wine, before returning to your accommodation.

Day 4 (Wed)

Kings Canyon - Alice Springs

Travel to Kings Canyon, stopping at Kings Creek Station for breakfast. After breakfast, you may choose to make the rocky climb to the rim of the canyon (for those with a good level of fitness) for marvellous views of Watarrka National Park. Alternatively, explore the boulder-strewn Canyon floor (an easier, shady walk). Stop at Kings Canyon Resort to purchase lunch (own expense) before travelling to Alice Springs, where you will be transferred to your accommodation, The Chifley Resort Alice Springs. (B)

Day 5 (Thur)

The Ghan Alice Springs

This morning after breakfast, check out of your hotel. You will then be transferred to the Alice Springs Rail Terminal, ready for your journey aboard The Ghan. ?This evening, settle back and enjoy a three course dinner in the Queen Adelaide Restaurant, before a Short Stop in Manguri, where you will be able ?to appreciate the beauty of the outback, under the stars at night. Day 6 (Fri)


After breakfast, The Ghan arrives into Adelaide. Upon arriving in Adelaide, you will be transferred to your overnight accommodation, Ibis Adelaide. The afternoon is yours to explore this delightful city. (B)

Day 7 (Sat)


This morning after breakfast, check out of your hotel. (B)
