Day 1 (Sun)

Indian Pacific, Perth and Kalgoorlie

Make your way to the East Perth Rail Terminal, for your journey on the Indian Pacific. Relax and settle into the comforts of your cabin, before enjoying dinner in the Queen Adelaide Restaurant. This evening, you will have the opportunity to participate in an Off Train Excursion and experience the gold mining town of Kalgoorlie. (L,D)

Day 2 (Mon)

Indian Pacific, Nullarbor

Upon waking, set your sights on the sparse landscape outside your cabin window, you have reached the edges of the expansive Nullarbor Plain. By the time you have refreshed and enjoyed a leisurely breakfast, you’ll be stepping off the train for an Outback Experience in Cook. Once a bustling railway town, it is now a lifeless ghost town. Here you can explore Cook and learn more about the town’s intriguing history. (B,L,D)

Day 3 (Tue)

Indian Pacific, Adelaide and Broken Hill

By morning’s light, your desert views have made way for the rolling South Australian countryside. The Indian Pacific arrives in Adelaide during the early morning, giving guests the opportunity to unearth the delights of this wonderful capital. Rejoin the train, and continue your journey further eastbound. This afternoon, arrive into Broken Hill, where you can explore the ‘Silver City’ on an Off Train Excursion. This evening enjoy dinner in the Queen Adelaide Restaurant, swapping stories with new found friends. (B,L,D)

Day 4 (Wed)

Indian Pacific, Sydney

As you wake this morning the train will snake its way through the Blue Mountains. Enjoy your last meal onboard, before arriving in the harbour-side city of Sydney. Make your own way to the Vibe Hotel Sydney, your accommodation for the next three nights. (B)

Day 5 (Thu)


Today, enjoy exploring Sydney using the Sydney Harbour Hop-On, Hop-Off ferry pass. Ferries depart the main tourist precincts every 45 minutes with a choice of up to nine stops along the way. Stops includes Darling Harbour, Circular Quay, Taronga Zoo, Watsons Bay, Luna Park, Manly, Fort Denison, Shark Island and Garden Island. (B)

Day 6 (Fri)

Blue Mountains

Venture beyond the city limits and enjoy the unique town of Leura. Continue onto Scenic World where you can enjoy a ride on the Scenic Railway, Cableway or Skyway (own expense). Savour a delicious lunch at the award winning Conservation Hut, overlooking the Valley of the Waters. Spend your afternoon at the award winning Featherdale Wildlife Park, providing a chance to interact with some of the native Australian animals. End your day with a leisurely cruise down the Parramatta River, under the Harbour Bridge and passing by the Opera House, docking in Circular Quay or Darling Harbour. (B,L)

This morning, after breakfast, check out of your accommodation. (B)
